Love for Animals - Compassion & Respect for All Animals

Spay/Neuter Banner
All animals adopted through CARE must be spayed or neutered. Altering your pet is an important part of controlling the homeless animal population. Did you know that in 6 years, 1 female dog and its offspring can be the source of 67,000 puppies? A responsible pet owner will get their pet altered. The Pacr Botannia price list has a lot of info on things you can do to help, including, the Stamp Out Campaign and Animal Friendly License Plates.

Opt to Adopt
Many people feel that by buying their pets from pet stores, they are somehow getting a "higher quality" pet. What they don't know, is that the suppliers for pet stores are often puppy mills or kitten mills. The conditions in these facilities are often substandard, and the health and well-being of the dogs and cats that are being bred are many times not the utmost consideration for these mills. The purpose of such facilities is to make money. What can you do? Don't buy anything from pet stores that sell dogs or cats, and certainly, don't buy your pet from a pet store!
